Best for: last-minute deals

Ragdale Hall, Leicester

Located amongst the Leicestershire countryside, Ragdale Hall Spa & Hotel is a relaxing retreat for the perfect chilled-out break. The spa offers so much more than an array of massages, facials, holistic and traditional treatments in one of the 50 dedicated treatment rooms. The Thermal Spa Experience includes scented rooms, saunas, volcanic salt baths and our favourite – the candle pool – which is a mosaic cavern filled with flickering candles, a star-lit ceiling, and a permanent water temperature of 34 degrees. It’s the perfect place to zone out. The stunning Rooftop Infinity Pool offers amazing views overlooking the beautiful countryside, while you sit and let the bubbles pummel away any stresses or strains. Around the hotel and spa, you’ll find lots of chill-out areas and lounges where you can take a break from treatments, exercise classes, evening talks and demonstrations to just sit back and relax.

  • There is a dedicated last-minute offers page on the website, which gets updated regularly so it’s worth checking back until you find something that takes your fancy. The evening spa experience is great value and worth checking out. It costs from £68 per person. To book visit Ragdalehall.co.uk.
